Packing for Ecuador
I would really like to be able to tell you that I pack light, but I don't. Honestly, it takes me about one week to pack but the process starts about 2 weeks out. I am on my 6th trip to Ecuador in the last year and I still struggle to make the required weight for my luggage. Even though it is challenging, I have been able to develop routines that make packing simpler. Here are 4 things I use to help my process along.

1. Backpack at the ready.
Always keep your backpack ready for the next trip. I find it helpful to have a travel sized set ready to go in the backpack so it is easier to pack.
2. Travel cubes
Not just any travel cubes, but the kind that have 2 sets of zippers to create less space. Mine even have a pocket to keep a note inside so you can remember what is inside or write down what day you will be using the contents.
3. Good cosmetic case
This is one I purchased this year and it held up through 2 flights with no issue.
3. Packing List
On TikTok, a genius of a man devised a packing list that would make an OCD person sing. Using this list has been a God-send, since it greatly reduces any anxiety around forgetting anything you may need. It takes a minute to set it all up, but once it's done, you are good to go for the next time!
Visit www.metraveladventures.com to request the list!
All items can be found in my Amazon list! M.E.T.A Amazon Store
What helps you make packing for travel easier? I'd love to know!
Thanks!
